   Parma is especially famous for its following products:

   • Parmesan peyniri (Parmigiano-Reggiano). It is a type of hard cheese that is matured for at least 24-36 months.
   • Parma ham (Parma ham). It is a type of ham that is aged for at least 12 months in dry air.
   • Tortelli d’Erbetta with Anolini in Broth. Tortelli with spinach and ricotta cheese and anolini ravioli in broth are among the traditional home dishes of the city.
   • Culatello di Zibello. It is a delicatessen product matured in special cellars in the Zibello village of Northwest Parma.
