The ingredients in Vienna coffee may vary depending on the type of coffee:
    • Melange. It contains two tablespoons of coffee, three-quarters of a glass of drinking water, one glass of milk and 2 tablespoons of honey.
    • clamper. It contains a shot of espresso, half a cup of cream, a tablespoon of sugar and ice.
    • Brauner. Contains 9 grams of coffee, drinking water and milk or cream.
    • Schwarzer or Mokka. Contains espresso.
    • Franciscan. Melange has cream instead of milk foam.
    • Latte. It contains a small amount of coffee in a large amount of milk.
    • Viennese iced coffee. It includes chilled coffee served with cream or vanilla ice cream.
    • Extended. It is the diluted version of Schwarzer or Brauner by adding twice the amount of water.
Additionally, there are also types of Viennese coffees prepared with whipped cream.
