   Some sauces compatible with penne pasta:

   • Pesto you are. Pesto sauce prepared with basil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts and olive oil goes well with penne pasta.
   • Angry sus. It is a spicy tomato sauce that pairs well with penne rigate.
   • béchamel sauce. It can turn pasta into a more satisfying main dish.
   • Vodka sauce. It is prepared with olive oil, onion, garlic, vodka, tomato puree and cream.
   • Marinara you are. It contains olive oil, flour, milk, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

   Penne pasta also goes well with vegetable sauces and cooked cheese sauces.
