   Some products grown in the Mediterranean climate are:

   • Fruit: Olives, grapes, citrus fruits (orange, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit), banana, avocado, pineapple, papaya, fig, peach, pomegranate, melon, walnut, almond, plum, cherry.
   • Grain: Wheat, barley.
   • Vegetable: Tomato, pepper, eggplant, zucchini, cucumber, okra, lettuce, greens (arugula, parsley, mint, spring onion).
   • Other: Cotton, tobacco, soy, peanut, sesame.

   The Mediterranean climate is suitable for a wide variety of agricultural products thanks to its hot and dry summers and mild and rainy winters.
