Key difference between SKT (Expiration Date) and TETT (Recommended Best Before Date)is concerned with the safety and quality of products.
SKTIt is used for products that are at risk of microbiological spoilage, and consuming the product after this date has passed may pose health risks. SKT is of great importance especially for medicines, nutritional supplements and cosmetic products.
DEEDIt indicates the period during which the product remains at its best quality and freshness when stored under appropriate conditions. After this date, the product may lose flavour, texture or nutritional value, but this generally does not pose a safety risk.
In summary:
SKT: Safety and health risks may increase.
DEED: Quality, taste and nutritional value decrease.
