  1. Ingredients needed to make original Cypriot dessert:

      • 1.5 cups of granulated sugar;
      • 1 pack of vanilla.
    How to make:
    1. Prepare the syrup: Put water and granulated sugar in a pot, stir until the sugar dissolves and boil for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and let cool.
    2. Make the cake: Beat the eggs and sugar well, add the other ingredients and mix. Pour it onto a greased tray and bake it in the oven at 160 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour the cold sherbet over it as soon as it comes out of the oven.
    3. Prepare the cream: Cook milk, starch and sugar on the stove until it reaches the consistency of pudding, add vanilla and powdered whipped cream and whisk.
