No, the labeling requirement for food additives has not been lifted.. According to the Turkish Food Codex Food Labeling and Consumer Information Regulation, certain information must be included on the labels of food additives. This information includes the name and E code of the food additive, the foods it can be added to and the conditions of use.
In addition, it is stated that food business operators must comply with the changes made by the Regulation on Amendments to the Turkish Food Codex Food Labeling and Consumer Information Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 6 April 2024 and numbered 32512 until 31/12/2026.
