   Ingredients for the meaty part of hünkar betti:

   • 600 grams of lamb leg meat (beef as desired);
   • 2 medium sized onions;
   • 4 cloves of garlic;
   • 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
   • 3 medium sized tomatoes;
   • 1 tablespoon tomato paste;
   • 2 glasses of hot water;
   • 1 teaspoon of salt.

   Ingredients for Hünkar’s ice cream:

   • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese;
   • 1 tablespoon of butter;
   • 1.5 glasses of milk;
   • 4 medium sized eggplants;
   • 1.5 tablespoons of flour;
   • 1 teaspoon of salt;
   • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.

   Hünkar is usually with the like.Side dishes such as bulgur pilaf, yoghurt, grape compote or haydari are served.
