   • cooking in pot: Green lentils are boiled over low heat until they become soft.
   • Cooking in a pressure cooker: Boiled green lentils, onion and tomato paste are added along with 7 glasses of water and cooked in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.

   Cooking time may vary depending on the type of lentils and the methods used.
