“Why was Twix banned?” için 1 yorum

  1. Twix ad banned in UK for encouraging unsafe driving.
The ad featured two caramel-colored cars superimposed on top of each other to look like a Twix chocolate bar, after a man’s accident during a car chase scene. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the ad encouraged driving that was “likely to breach the legal requirements of the Highway Traffic Act”.
Twix owner Mars-Wrigley argued that the ad was “designed with a sense of humor that is far from reality” and that the rides took place at legal speed limits. However, the ASA decided that the ad should not run again.
