Ezo Gelin marries the man she loves and begins to be known as “Ezo Gelin”. However, this marriage ends due to interrupters and gossips. Ezo Gelin does not marry anyone for 6 years. Later, under pressure from her family, she is married to the son of her aunt living in Syria.
Ezo Gelin succumbed to tuberculosis in 1956, at the age of 47, 20 years after he went to Syria in 1936.
Ezo Gelin leaves behind three important legacies.:

Ezo’s recipe became known as “Ezogelin soup” in Anatolia. The grave of Ezo, who stated that he always wanted to return to his homeland before his death, was brought to Türkiye in 1999 and moved to the village where he was born.
According to some sources, Ezogelin soup is a soup that Ezo Gelin made by mixing the ingredients left at home when she was widowed and poor in Antep. According to another belief, this soup was already being made, but due to its beauty and taste, it began to be named after Ezo Gelin.
