Ingredients required for the cream of the roll cake:
500 ml milk;
1 pack of vanilla;
2.5 tablespoons of flour (50 g);
1 tablespoon of starch (15 g);
4 tablespoons of sugar (65 g);
1 tablespoon of butter.
Preparation:
Add all ingredients except vanilla and butter to a pot.
Stir constantly until it thickens.
When it starts to boil, turn off the stove.
Add vanilla and butter and mix.
To cool the mixture quickly until the sponge cake is ready, transfer it to another container, cover it with air tight wrap and let it cool.
To make the cream brighter and more consistent, you can add 1 tablespoon of butter after completing the cooking process and blend it with a hand blender or beat it with a mixer.
